Rules and Guidelines

- Logging into Facebook at least once a day ( twice for Slashers, Psychics, Cops and Reporters ) OR time to play for a good, solid few hours if the rounds are shorter.
- Being Facebook Friends with all players of the game session you share.

Rules and Guidelines
Roles
- There are two teams, the Slashers and the Campers.

- The GM choose the number of Slashers, Psychics, Cops and Reporters to a game, adjusting to the number of players. Info can be found here.

- There are three very special roles: the Cop, the Psychic, and the Reporter. These two roles belong to the Campers team.
+ The Cop can Protect a player each night by sending the GM a message on Facebook of the name of the chosen player.
+ The Psychic can choose a player each night to reveal their role by sending the GM a message on Facebook of the name of the chosen player, and I will reveal that player's role to them.
+ The Reporter can read the Slasher chat, but cannot post in there or know who the chatters are.

- The Game Moderator choose the roles and shall inform you of them via Facebook.

Rounds
- There are Day Rounds and Night Rounds.

- During the Day, players must cast a vote in the poll on Facebook to vote off whomever you believe the Slasher is. If there is a tie in the poll, no one will be eliminated from the game.

- Every Night, Slashers must unanimously ( everyone agrees ) vote on a Camper to slash and send the GM a message informing them of the Camper. If the vote is not unanimous, no one will be slashed that night.

Chats and Messaging
- There is a group chat on Chatzy that is available only during the day. The link to the chat room is available on the Current Session Info page. A password is required to enter the chat, and will be told to you when the game starts.

- A private chat on Chatzy is available to Slashers only through the entire game. This is an easy way for Slashers to contact each other and discuss their targets. However, the Reporter can read this chat, but cannot tell what the Slashers' names are.

- Players may private message each other on Facebook at any time during the game, but be careful who you trust with your role as you gather alliances!

Okay, so you died. Now what?

- The role of a player will be revealed when they are killed. Roles are also revealed at the end of the game when a team has won.

- When a player is killed, they may no longer play or interact with the remaining players in any way until the game has ended. These dead players may message the GM to ask any questions and get honest answers without any tomfoolery.

- The game ends when either all the Slashers are revealed and killed, or all Campers are killed.

- The foundations of this game are trust and trickery. Don't let your friendships get in the way of you playing the game while you're playing. While in-game, lying, back-stabbing, tricking, and double-agenting are very much acceptable. However, don't let the game get in the way of your friendships outside of the game. Outside of the game, all shenanigans must be forgiven because honestly and truly, it is a game.

Let the Slashing begin. >D
